We are delighted to be working on behalf of our client based in Durham who is looking to expand their workforce due to growth of the business. We are looking to recruit Machine Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis, following successful completion of the probation period. This is a full time role working over 4 days a week. Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 06.00am -04.00pm excellent for a good work /life balance. Duties of the role include: Running Machines to manufacture finished products in a busy production environment. Sanding of wooden products and use of hand tools such as drills, hand sanders and rivet guns. Following SOP\’s to ensure quality and that daily targets are met. This role is manual although there are lots of lifting aids and some automation. The role would still require candidates to be physically suited to elements of manual handling. Experience required: * Experience of working in a joinery wood manufacturing background is highly desirable * Previous experience of using an Edge Bander Machine would be advantageous * I background of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment would be preferred * Excellent attitude to work * Reliable and dedicated * A team player * Willingness to learn Due to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts unfortunately we are not always able to provide individual feedback.
