We are currently seeking a Factory Labourer to work within a busy manufacturing facility in Birtley. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the manufacturing team with material preparation
- Accurately measuring materials in readiness for production
- Manual handling and movement of raw materials (including the use of FLT training provided)
- Following detailed instructions for various product types
- Meeting daily production targets
Requirements:
- Physically fit - manual lifting is a key part of the role
- Good numerical skills - confident working with measurements
- Willingness to work across all three shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
Shift Pattern:
- Day Shift: Monday to Saturday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am
You will work one Saturday every three weeks due to the rotating shift pattern.
