Established in the mid 70’s we are a leading manufacturer of power & electrical equipment, with customers throughout the UK and worldwide. From supplying the UK’s largest property developers, F1 teams to the film industry and music festivals, you will be working with a diverse and dynamic range of customers. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The role will provide exposure to a variety of accounting and administrative duties, with support and training available for the right candidate. The position is 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend, or bank holiday working.

What You’ll Be Doing...

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the accounts and administration function
  • Assisting with credit control activities, including contacting customers by telephone and email regarding outstanding invoices
  • Maintaining the sales ledger and ensuring customer account information is accurate and up to date
  • Processing customer payments and allocating receipts to customer accounts
  • Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining customer records
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and other routine finance tasks
  • Responding to customer account queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaising with customers and colleagues across the business to resolve account-related issues
  • Carrying out general office administration duties including filing, scanning, data entry and document management
  • Assisting with month-end activities as required
  • Ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially
  • Other ad‑hoc admin duties as required by the business
