The Role
Due to continued growth, Kerv is recruiting an exciting new role for a sales specialist to work within its Strategic Business Development Team. This is a small, highly specialised team of unique individuals, who are seasoned, big‑hitting sales and business growth people, with experience of founding, growing and selling businesses for many £10’s of millions. This is a completely unique opportunity for the right person to help us ‘growth hack’ our next generation of customers. To do this we need a dynamic individual, who thinks outside the box and will bring a combination of analytical skills, curiosity and creativity to bear. This person will be excited to learn how to exploit the latest sales and marketing tools to do the groundwork, and build our next generation of prospects.
The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with some experience in a sales or marketing role, an aspiration to evolve and develop in the field of sales and marketing, and the desire to make the next progressive step in their early career. Support will be provided as they will be working closely with the team’s senior sales leaders, but we are looking for an agile individual who is willing to build on their existing experience embracing a learn‑fast / fail‑fast mindset, breaking new boundaries using the latest AI tooling. As a growth hacker, they will relish the opportunity to ethically exploit AI in pursuit of their goals, but will be keen to pick up the phone to qualify a prospect who’s demonstrated a buying signal and gather information. They’ll be a rare breed of outcome‑focused problem solver who is used to juggling multiple workstreams and priorities. We need someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves, make the role their own, and fast‑track their career in sales and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Sales prospecting, business development and growth hacking
- Working with marketing to create and support campaigns
- Keen eye for detail to write and respond to written communications with clients and prospects
- Exploiting modern Go To Market technologies such as Clay
- Exploiting and feeding Kerv’s social media presence to reach your audience
- Liaising with the marketing team to attend technology events to grow awareness of Kerv
Required Skills / Experience
- Entrepreneurial outlook and growth mindset
- Experience working in an early sales or marketing role and awareness of modern tooling
- Great attention to detail, meticulous planning skills and genuine creativity to think on your feet and ensure the Kerv message is communicated as effectively as possible across prospects, customers and partners
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Happy to pick up the phone and qualify prospects who’ve demonstrated some purchasing intent or interest in Kerv
