All About You
We’re looking for an experienced Network & Security Support Engineer to join our Network Support Team. This role requires at least 4–5 years’ experience supporting complex customer environments with technologies such as SD-WAN, Firewalls, Routing (OSPF/BGP), and ISP management. You’ll be part of a high-performing team, providing advanced triage, incident response, and change implementation, while acting as an escalation point for junior engineers. The role is hybrid, with time split between home working, our Richmond and occasional presence at our London HQ office.
Your part to play:
- Provide advanced support for network and security incidents & service requests
- Lead implementation of change requests and project tasks
- Act as an escalation point for Level-1/2 engineers, providing guidance and mentorship
- Troubleshoot complex networking/security issues across customer environments
- Manage ISP circuits and liaise with providers as needed
- Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure knowledge sharing within the team
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and flexible shift coverage
Required Expertise:
- 4–5 years’ experience in a network & security support role
- Security technologies (firewall policies, IPS/IDS, web filtering, secure web gateways)
- Switching (Layer 2/3)
- Monitoring tools (SNMP, API-based platforms)
- Technical Skills: VeloCloud, SilverPeak, Fortinet, Zscaler, Infoblox (training provided for gaps)
