We are undergoing an exciting period of transformation and growth following the merger of five highly successful organisations. Transform provides innovative infrastructure solutions and managed services.

About The Role

The role of our Consultants is to create and deliver leading cloud, virtualisation and security solutions for our clients. This will encompass a variety of tasks throughout a project lifecycle including pre‑sales, analysis & design, implementation, documentation and technical escalation support for our Managed Services Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the technical delivery of allocated consultancy projects, including Microsoft Intune deployments, Azure migrations, and Microsoft 365 transitions ensuring solutions align with customer requirements and security best practices.
  • Maintain continuous personal and professional development to keep pace with evolving Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and security landscapes, participating in training provided by, or through, the business.
  • Support the Pre‑Sales team by providing technical input, solution designs, and security considerations to help build robust and competitive customer proposals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for service improvement, new technologies, and enhanced security approaches, both internally and for customer environments.
  • Represent the business professionally in customer meetings, workshops, and presentations, demonstrating strong technical knowledge and consultancy skills.
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with sales teams and technology vendors, aligning customer needs with appropriate Microsoft and security solutions.
  • Participate in service transition activities, ensuring smooth handover of projects into managed and security services, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain a proactive, professional, and customer‑focused approach, with excellent communication skills across telephone, virtual, and face‑to‑face engagements.
  • Develop specialism in at least one Tier‑1 Microsoft product area (e.g. Intune, Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, or Security) and hold or work towards relevant vendor certifications.
  • Demonstrate ongoing experience in consultancy, service delivery, project management, and service transition within cloud and security‑focused environments.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all business levels, from technical teams to senior leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

All About You

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is desirable; however, equivalent practical experience and relevant industry certifications are equally valued. Microsoft certifications (such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, or Security) are highly beneficial, along with other recognised qualifications (e.g. networking or infrastructure certifications).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a 3rd line support role or equivalent within an MSP or similar environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
  • Experience with Active Directory, user management, and security permissions.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
