Launched in July 2020, the Kerv Group is a next-generation ‘customer-first, cloud-first’ provider, created to help customers achieve successful business outcomes in a new digital era. We are undergoing an exciting period of transformation and growth following the acquisition of ten highly successful organisations, we are now over 900 employees.
As a result of acquiring a major new customer, we need a QA Automation Specialist to help us deliver a multi-year project. The role fits inside the “CX Products Team”, who develop and maintain a variety of different products that integrate with Genesys, and who also implement custom software for customers. This role will focus on delivering software for the needs of a major new customer, as well as other customers and tools over the next 7+ years. There will also be opportunities to work on other CX Products.
The software deliverables encompass a wide range of software projects, from data extraction and visualisation to working with LLMs and implementing AI decision and review processes, and integrating with third-party systems, as well as IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems. All software will have extremely high availability targets, and must be designed, implemented and architected to be resilient, with no single point of failure and a focus on quality and detail.
In particular, you will help create automated regression tests that exercise a UI in a defined way, and use automated IVR testing tools to ensure no inadvertent changes have been introduced. You will work as part of a small team, currently consisting of 10 others, working together to design and implement new features, identify and fix defects, and deliver real business value – via working, tested, reliable software - to customers.
Your Part to Play: As part of the team, you will work with the Product Owner and Technical Lead to deliver new features, and support the rest of the Project Team when needed. You will contribute towards the technical design and testability of products with the Product Director and the rest of the team. This includes conducting and organising research on the best way to achieve a particular technical goal, understanding customers’ business requirements, and providing timescale estimates.
The role is remote based but due to customer demands the candidate must be based in the UK.
All about you: You must have experience with automated web-based testing frameworks and knowledge on how to build and run automated UI tests. Ideally you will also have experience of voice testing tools, such as Cyara or Occam.
