What we are looking for: We are looking for a sales professional and future business leader with a demonstrable track record in software, professional services and solution selling, ideally to Transport, Central Government, Regional Government and Utility customers. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, high-energy, natural relationship builder with strong leadership credentials. If successful, you will be responsible for selling Microsoft business applications, plus open-source and AWS software and professional services solutions across the Public Sector. You will lead sales opportunity pursuits into major existing accounts, as well as new Public sector customers. You will be responsible for developing your own accounts and new business pursuits, quickly forming effective and productive internal virtual team relationships with existing solutions and client services leads in pursuit of the Public Sector business plan targets.
Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will include:
- Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets
- Opportunity prospecting
- Sales qualification
- Construction, execution and leadership of complex selling campaigns
- Virtual team management
- Pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting
- Owning the sales functions' contributions to proposition/bid writing involved in response to structured procurement processes

Required Experience:
- 10+ years of demonstrable success in selling professional services, Agile software development and cloud software-based solutions to enterprise level customers
- Extensive experience of leading major sales campaigns, involving C-suite level engagement and influence, culminating in deal values between Β£50k - Β£10M+
- Extensive experience of selling software design, development/build and test professional service solutions
- Extensive experience of selling Microsoft business applications and Azure solutions
- Knowledge and experience of solution selling into the Public Sector
- Extensive experience of successfully building, managing and executing opportunity
