An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Negligence or Chartered Legal Executive with equivalent experience to join a well-established and highly regarded team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of claimant medical negligence matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Conducting detailed legal research and case analysis
  • Liaising with medical experts, counsel, courts, and other parties
  • Providing clear, empathetic, and client-focused advice throughout the lifecycle of each case
  • Using strong litigation and negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including maintaining relationships with referrers and attending networking events
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, or Chartered Legal Executive with equivalent experience
  • Proven experience managing claimant medical negligence cases independently
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • An interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
  • Willingness to travel to the office as required
