An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Negligence or Chartered Legal Executive with equivalent experience to join a well-established and highly regarded team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of claimant medical negligence matters from instruction through to resolution
- Conducting detailed legal research and case analysis
- Liaising with medical experts, counsel, courts, and other parties
- Providing clear, empathetic, and client-focused advice throughout the lifecycle of each case
- Using strong litigation and negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
- Supporting business development initiatives, including maintaining relationships with referrers and attending networking events
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, or Chartered Legal Executive with equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing claimant medical negligence cases independently
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
- An interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
- Willingness to travel to the office as required
