Credit Hire Litigator in Liverpool

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to join a well-established litigation team in Liverpool. The role will see you take ownership of a varied caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters, including fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed claims, managing cases from the commencement of proceedings through to settlement or trial. Key responsibilities include: * Managing a full caseload of litigated Credit Hire claims * Handling fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed matters * Progressing cases from issue of proceedings through to trial * Complying with court directions, orders and procedural deadlines * Negotiating settlements and securing the best possible outcomes for clients * Maintaining regular communication with Credit Hire providers * Building strong relationships with hire companies and other key stakeholders * Working closely with colleagues across the wider litigation team * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records About you: * Previous experience handling Credit Hire claims is essential * Strong experience managing litigated RTA matters through to resolution * Good understanding of Credit Hire case law and litigation procedure * Knowledge of the MOJ Protocols, Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules * Understanding of personal injury claims and associated costs * Comfortable working towards KPIs including billing, settlement rates and case duration * Strong organisation and caseload management skills * Confident working independently while also contributing to a wider team * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous but is not essential Benefits: * Generous salary package * Attractive bonus scheme * Hybrid working * Overtime opportunities with additional pay * Supportive and established litigation team * Opportunities for career development and progression
