About the Role
Reporting to Kerv’s Head of Marketing, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative, with a demonstrable understanding of driving new business growth and generating qualified pipeline. You will play a key role in driving new business growth across the contact centre and CX practice for Kerv. You will focus on generating leads, building pipeline, engaging senior stakeholders, mentoring junior members of the team and partnering closely with Marketing & Sales to execute targeted account strategies.
Your Part to Play
- Drive outbound prospecting across strategic accounts using calls, email, LinkedIn, and targeted campaigns
- Identify, research, and engage key decision-makers within enterprise and mid-market organizations
- Work closely with the sales team to execute account-based strategies and support with strategic account development
- Find creative ways to open doors into new prospective accounts
- Work closely with Marketing to follow up on campaign and event activity
- Lead Qualification: Conduct thorough discovery calls to qualify prospects using established frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.)
- Qualify inbound, outbound and marketing-generated leads, to pass onto the sales team
- Team Mentorship: coach junior BDRs on prospecting techniques, objection handling, and best practices
- Clearly articulate the value of Genesys Cloud and Kerv’s CX solutions aligned to prospect challenges
- Consistently generate qualified pipeline aligned with regional revenue goals
- Maintain accurate activity lead tracking in Dynamics 365
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to meetings/demo’s booked, pipeline creation, and conversion rates
- Event Support: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and build relationships
All About You
- 3-5 years of successful BDR/SDR experience with consistent quota achievement
- Proven track record of generating qualified pipeline within Enterprise accounts
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage C-level executives
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior team members
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales environment (preferred Genesys / CCaaS experience).
