Overview

Bid Manager. Hybrid role based in the UK (home-based with occasional office/customer site visits). Location: UK HQ, Seven House, 18 High Street, Longbridge, B31 2UQ. The Bid Manager will organise and coordinate bid production, content capture, and commercial modelling to create compelling proposals. This role is crucial in driving business acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate bid production, content capture, and commercial modelling to create compelling proposals.
  • Lead the written and editorial side of bids: authoring content, editing and re-writing responses from stakeholders into clear, coherent and compelling text.
  • Communicate requirements, deadlines, and expectations to stakeholders and the bid team.
  • Rewrite and edit proposal responses from various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and coherence.
  • Drive qualification and win strategy: bid/no-bid decisions, win themes, competitive positioning.
  • Apply lessons learned and win-rate analysis to drive continuous improvement across the function.
  • Desirable: familiarity with public sector frameworks and procurement (DOS, G-Cloud, Tech Services, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in the consulting industry, ideally in technology consulting.
  • Strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills; comfortable owning cadence from kick-offs to submission.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple concurrent bids under demanding timelines.
  • Proficiency in Word and Teams; curiosity about how AI can improve bid workflows.
  • Sound commercial understanding with profit/loss and risk management awareness.
