The Role / Who we are looking for: The Bid Manager will organise and coordinate bid production, content capture, and commercial modelling to create compelling proposals. This role is crucial in driving business acquisition and retention.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the consulting industry (ideally within technology consulting space)
- Led the written and editorial side of bids: authoring content, and editing and re-writing responses from stakeholders into something clear, coherent and compelling
- Communicate requirements, deadlines, and expectations to stakeholders and the bid team.
- Re-write and edit proposal responses from various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and coherence.
- Drive qualification and win strategy: bid/no-bid calls, win themes, competitive positioning
- Used lessons learned and win-rate analysis to drive continuous improvement across the function
- Desirable: familiarity with public sector frameworks and procurement (DOS, G-Cloud, Tech Services and such.)
Personal attributes:
- Strong organisational and project management skills - comfortable owning the cadence: kick-offs, review gates, rehearsals, submission
- Excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, work to demanding timelines and multiple concurrent bids.
- Confident in Word and Teams, and curious about how AI can make the bid workflow faster and better
- Sound commercial understanding with profit and loss and risk management skills.
