Role Summary
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Manager to join the Ruminant Team at our Rochdale site named Quat-Chem. As our customer base and market dynamics continue to evolve, we are seeking someone who can strengthen our customer relationships, improve service continuity, and support the efficiency of our wider sales operation.
The Business Support Manager will work closely with the field sales team, merchant customers, and internal departments to enhance customer engagement, improve CRM and data utilisation, and support both business retention and future growth opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product categories and become fully integrated within the Ruminant sales team.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for merchant customers and, in some cases, the primary point of contact.
- Support the field sales team with follow-up customer calls, lead generation activities and administrative and operational support.
- Support the integration and ongoing development of CRM systems for both merchant and end-user customer profiles.
- Maintain and improve customer data quality to support business retention and growth strategies.
- Analyse commercial and customer data to identify business threats and growth opportunities.
- Assist with forecasting trends, customer performance analysis, and CMA analysis.
- Help improve continuity of customer service and supply during changes within the sales team structure.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer interaction, communication, and service delivery.
