We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join our Pig & Poultry Division in the South West/ Central regions of the UK.
- Maintenance of existing customer accounts and accountability for growing the area business into new account opportunities.
- Maintenance of the business reporting tools and CRM system.
- Attending national events, which may involve overnight stays.
- Ensuring company policy is followed in terms of regulatory compliance across all customer sites.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the agricultural/food processing sector.
- Ideally a background within the Pig and/or Poultry sectors.
- IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent professional sales technique with an ability to generate new business and maintain customer relationships.
- An understanding of agricultural processes and procedures, particularly within the pig and poultry sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between teams and with customers and colleagues in person via email and over the phone.
- Ability to continually improve quality and effectiveness of all activities.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
