About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives to join our Kerry Team in Tenbury Wells, Co. Worcestershire, England.

It is a full-time, permanent role with rotating shift pattern of day and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday.

Where will you work?

At our Kerry site in Tenbury Wells, we are producing a range of products from fruit preserves, fillings, sauces and toppings, to chocolate, caramel and savory sauces. We supply yogurt, ice-cream, and other dairy product manufacturers, as well as baking companies and foodservice groups. The site is located close to A456, 4 minutes by car from Tenbury Wells town center. Due to work hours a private transport will be required. There’s an onsite parking and canteen with fresh fruits provided.

What will you be doing?

The role of Production Operative involves:

  • Operating production machinery.
  • Cooperating with other team members, such as group leads, quality control personnel, or other manufacturing operators to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals are met.
  • Accurately maintaining records and documentation.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.
  • Reporting food safety problems and participating in training for food safety and plant safety.
  • Following strict safety procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and Health and Safety standards.
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes is beneficial.
  • Experience using SAP system is beneficial.
