We are expanding our manufacturing facility in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry and have several exciting opportunities available for Production Operatives. As our operations grow, we will be hiring for multiple full-time, permanent positions over the coming months. In this role, you will work on a 3-week rotating shift schedule. Shifts are 12 hours each (from 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am), alternating between days and nights.
Where will you work?
Kerry Coleraine proudly stands as the UK’s leading manufacturer of processed cheese. We specialise in producing individually wrapped cheese slices for retail, as well as cheese slices designed for the catering and fast-food industries. With our ongoing expansion, we are also broadening our production to include a wider variety of products.
What will you do?
- Working on the production line and organising production materials.
- Following Health and Safety procedures.
- Assisting with the production setup changes.
- Collecting and recording production data.
- Reporting on any issues in production area.
- Ensuring product quality through visual inspections.
What do you need to be successful?
- Experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse environment would be an advantage, but a ‘can-do’ attitude is more important as full training will be given.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP) and ability to log in and interpret production data.
- Being able to work in a team and on your own.
- Ability to follow instructions and Health and Safety regulations.
