About the role
As a Technician based on-site at our Omagh manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment within a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maintain performance, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, offering exposure to a dynamic production environment and opportunities to build experience across different working schedules.
Working Pattern & Benefits
- Full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week, across 7 days (including days, nights, and weekends)
- Shift patterns:
- Day shift: 700am - 300pm
- Evening shift: 300pm - 1100pm
- Night shift: 1100pm - 700am
Key responsibilities
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose faults and implement timely, effective solutions
- Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to on-site quality behaviours and practices
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
