About the role: The Quality Systems Administrator oversees the technical management and day-to-day operation of the organisations Quality Management System. The role ensures system integrity, maintains document control, administers user access and workflows, and facilitates compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Working closely with quality, operations, and audit teams, the Quality Systems Administrator contributes to data accuracy, delivers timely system updates, and provides guidance and assistance to keep the QMS efficient, audit-ready, and aligned with continuous improvement goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and operate the Site Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and update the QMS framework procedures, ensuring all approved updates and amendments are implemented and controlled
- Administer Salesforce requests related to customer documentation
- Contribute to the upkeep of the site HACCP plan and associated documentation
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances by investigating root causes and implementing effective corrective actions
- Perform traceability tests and assist with product investigations
- Participate in internal audits and compliance checks, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and skills:
- Education: Typically a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Previous experience in a technical, QA, or administration role within food manufacturing.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HACCP, GFSI standards, and food safety legislation.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficiency with electronic document management systems, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and MS Office.
- Attributes: Highly organised, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
