We have the opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join our Kerry Team in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry. This is a full-time, permanent position on 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts.

Where will you work? In Kerry Coleraine we produce a variety of flavoured syrups and sauces.

What will you do? Your responsibilities as a Production Team Leader will include:

  • Carrying out production activities and process changeovers in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Leading problem-solving activities by identifying, rectifying and reporting production issues.
  • Escalating production issues for further investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Inspecting materials for damage, defects or foreign material, and verifying batch numbers and shelf-life before use in production.
  • Confirming the availability of ingredients, packaging, consumables and production line resources.
  • Recording and collecting key production and quality control data.
  • Carrying out standard operating checks on work in progress and finished product.
  • Performing maintenance checks on process equipment before, during and after daily operations.
  • Cross-training across a range of machines and production areas to support operational flexibility.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally within a food production environment.
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Good written, verbal and numerical skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
  • Team-focused, with a commitment to supporting the Production Stream in achieving its goals.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
