About the role
As we continue to rapidly grow our Foodservice business we now have this exciting 12 month fixed term Account Manager position, home based in the UK. We are seeking a self‑motivated candidate who loves to get up in the morning and smell the coffee! We’re looking for someone energetic & entrepreneurial to join our Foodservice team and help drive the growth of our beverage brand, DaVinci Gourmet. You will hunt new business, supported by the account director, and drive growth with regional coffee & bakery chains. We expect to grow our business significantly in the coming 12 months. Achievement of our growth objective will be led by you and will be dependent on the establishment of closer partnerships with key customers, providing tailor‑made & innovative solutions driven by Kerry’s unique Taste and Nutrition platform. This is a home‑based role with the majority of your time spent travelling to meet in person with potential customers/clients, so you will need a FULL UK driving license.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow key regional coffee chain targets in the bakery and coffee channel by using market contacts, LinkedIn, Cold Calling
- Identify and target the key problem owners/stakeholders in each target and develop long‑lasting collaborative relationships
- Build and effectively manage a robust pipeline of the key targets
- Working closely with our marketing team you will execute our brand campaigns and develop drinks menus with customers based on market trends and insights
- Build relationships with regional chains using our barista team to develop menus based on insight
- Help grow DaVinci Gourmet distribution by working closely with the distributor account management team
Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience in dealing with and managing coffee/bakery chains or similar
- Strong understanding of the foodservice coffee market and contacts are desirable
- Significant experience in a similar role or foodservice environment
- Experience working with cross‑functional internal teams
- Positive and ambitious attitude toward driving new business growth
- Solid IT skills, with a high level in MS – PowerPoint, Outlook etc
- Willingness to travel, which can include anywhere in the UK, across 4/5 days per week
