Kerry Robert Associates is working with one of London’s newest and favourite Italian restaurants looking for a talented, confident, and customer-focused Sommelier to join their team. This independent restaurant offers a warm, relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere with around 48 covers, serving Italian home-style dishes designed for sharing, alongside a carefully curated wine list from the owner's own cellar.
As an experienced Sommelier you will be:
- Familiar with Italian wines and have great communication skills
- Working alongside the restaurant team and the Cellar, playing a key role in delivering a thoughtful and confident wine service
- Recommending wines and suggesting food pairings
- Assisting with wine list development, tasting notes, and seasonal updates
- Developing wine knowledge across the service team by leading tasting and briefing sessions
- Maintaining high standards of cellar organisation and storage, stock control and inventory
- Liaising with suppliers
Working basis:
- 40–42 hours per week
- Restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Immediate start
Salary and benefits:
- Salary circa £42,000
