Kerry Robert Associates is looking for a Maintenance Manager on behalf of a well-established and known hotel near Leicester. As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring that all hotel rooms, public areas, facilities, grounds and equipment are fully functional, safe and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule preventative maintenance tasks and repairs (i.e. plumbing, heat and ventilation, electrical, painting, carpentry).
  • Manage and oversee that all maintenance team and contractors always adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize guest inconvenience.
  • Manage your department’s budget, tools, equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory records, orders, inspections and equipment documentation.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager in a hotel, hospitality setting or similar (i.e. care home).
  • Supervisory experience (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building systems.
  • Health and safety regulations knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and proactive leader capable of communicating effectively with all hotel departments.
  • Additional technical certifications or licenses (desirable).
