Kerry Robert Associates is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established hotel group in the search for an experienced Cluster Financial Controller, based in the Belfast area. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded hospitality finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. As a Cluster Financial Controller, you will be working closely with the General Managers at each property and the regional finance team, as well as taking ownership of the hotels’ financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and commercial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review the hotels financial performance
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and management reports
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key business KPIs
- Conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews
- Work closely with and support all hotel departments, providing financial guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with company and financial procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Assistant Financial Controller
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a hotel finance department (essential)
- Strong understanding of hotel finance operations and commercial drivers
- Self-accounting experience (desirable)
- Confident working with hotel PMS and EPOS systems
- Adaptable to new technologies
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Benefits:
