Kerry Robert Associates is seeking a

Group Management Accountant located in London to provide strong financial support to a well-established and expanding hotel company.

Being part of the HO finance team, you will support the group in managing and overseeing the preparation of financial statements, asset accounting, balance sheets, supporting year end accounts and managing intercompany transactions.

This is a great opportunity for a high calibre professional coming from a hospitality based corporate background.

You will be joining a strong finance team, where you will have the opportunity to expand your finance career further.

About the role

  • Preparing monthly financial statements, supporting the month-end closing process across the group
  • Keeping Intercompany statements updated
  • Balance-sheet reconciliations and highlighting risks across the group
  • Monitor and analyse hotel performance by applying corporate measurements, and key performance indicators.
  • Compiling reports and statistics for senior management
  • Continuous benchmarking of performance against internal and external competition, identifying trends and highlighting opportunities.
  • Improving internal controls and compliance

The ideal Candidate

  • It would be desirable to have in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and its dynamics
  • Head office experience (desirable)
  • Commercially focused individual
  • Good understanding of P&L statements, balance sheets and cash-flow statements
  • Strong command of excel and other software an advantage
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with people from other departments and at all levels
  • Good organisational skills, capable of prioritising tasks and attention to detail
  • Salary package: £53,000 plus benefits
