Overview
Kerry Robert Associates is looking for a Maintenance Manager on behalf of a well-established and known hotel near Leicester.
As a Maintenance Manager you will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring that all hotel rooms, public areas, facilities, grounds and equipment are fully functional, safe and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
- Co-ordinate and schedule preventative maintenance tasks and repairs (i. e. plumbing, heat and ventilation, electrical, painting, carpentry).
- Manage and oversee that all maintenance team and contractors always adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Manage your department's budget, tools, equipment and supplies.
- Maintain inventory records, orders, inspections and equipment documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager in a hotel, hospitality setting or similar (i. e. care home).
- Supervisory experience (essential).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building systems.
- Health and safety regulations knowledge.
- Self‑motivated and proactive leader capable of communicating effectively with all hotel departments.
- Additional technical certifications or licenses (desirable).
Benefits
Salary range between £40,000 to £45,000 plus company benefits and discounts.
Location
