This full-time position is a key supporting role within the Supply Chain Department. The fundamental requirement of the role is to ensure the production schedule runs to the optimum efficiency without any disruption and that stock is used efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to track product ordered and update stock within the SAP system as well as carrying out general administrative duties.
Key responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Materials team
- Manage PO’s for specific materials & consumables and invoice reconciliation for same
- This role will oversee the administration of product quantities required & purchased from suppliers across the world in line with Kerry Group purchasing policy
- Capture and accurately maintain order information using SAP, from order to invoicing
- Liaise daily with suppliers, operations & production teams, warehousing, and Quality, working towards a common production goal for customers as part of the Supply Chain Department
- Coordinate with suppliers & transport companies to ensure deliveries arrive on time
- Maintain stock levels, ensuring lean working capital at all times
- Contribute to the regional and global procurement functions
Qualifications and skills:
- Diploma or higher in a Business / Supply Chain related subject would be desirable, however not essential.
- Previous administrative experience in a supply chain, manufacturing or production environment would also be an advantage.
- The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills (Excel (Pivot Tables) / Word / PowerPoint), and ideally SAP or similar ERP experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats with a variety of internal / external contacts.
- Good numeracy skills, with the ability to record, interpret and review data and identify insights.
- Comfortable working as part of a team, while also able to work on own initiative.
