About the role As a Supply Chain Manager at our Runcorn site you will be responsible for a high portfolio of flavour products within the UK, EU, APAC.
Due to the nature of the geographical demographic you will occasionally be dealing with a complex supply chain to bring in Raw Materials and you will be working with around 275 different brands.
Reporting into the Plant Manager the Supply Chain Manager will have a direct team of 2 reporting into them, you will cover warehouse logistics and raw material cool off for site and you will be supporting on projects to maintain Supply Chain performance as volume increases, liquid flavours grow in size and some complex sites.
The successful candidate will be based in Runcorn and there will be the opportunity to travel to other sites as and when required.
Key responsibilities Manage all supply chain activities, to ensure delivery of value-add service to the business Report performance metrics for all supply chain functions, to drive process improvement to best practice Management of around 15 direct reports both in a day-day context and in development context Lead the process for capturing forecasts into the Planning process, aligning procurement and manufacturing activities and resource allocation, to meet customers' demands Manage the supply chain side of new product introductions Participate in and contribute to the business S&OP process by presenting scenarios showing relation between sales, factory capacity and stocks Qualifications and skills Minimum qualification is a Bachelor's degree level in Supply Chain Management or related subject Proven track record in a Supply Chain role within a manufacturing environment Significant experience in a people leadership team.
Direct experience in working with SAP in a planning and manufacturing context is critical Proficient level in Excel handling large datasets The ability to work with other business functions across a complex matrix based organisation.
