About the role
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at the heart of innovation? We’re seeking a driven NPI Technologist to join our RD&A team in Coleraine.
In this fast-paced environment, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams, steering projects from concept to launch with precision and creativity. Your expertise will be essential in managing New Product Implementation—championing both product and packaging developments, while ensuring seamless communication and timely updates reach our site teams and valued customers.

Key responsibilities
- Owner of Product/Packaging development from customer brief, scale up trials & customer launch.
- Owner of new packaging development trials along with required paperwork
- Responsible for completing & coordinating NPD code set up and commercialisation
- Responsible for artwork process along with artwork house, brand & technical team
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain customer Focus for ingredient and packaging developments within the marketplace
- Sample Creation and dispatch to customers
- Remain fully flexible to meet business requirement.
Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Food Science (or related topic) or previous relevant experience in the Food /Manufacturing Industry
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in SAP and Optiva systems an advantage
- Fluency in English
- Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to work on your own initiative and pay attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- People management experience an advantage
