ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Waiter at Kerridge's Bar & Grill plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. As a senior member of the front-of-house team, the Senior Waiter is responsible for leading, providing support to junior staff, and overseeing service operations during shifts. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and a professional, efficient approach to service delivery.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience as a waiter/senior in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings and menu offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and mentor junior staff.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Flexibility to work varied hours.
• Takes pride in own professional grooming.
• Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Pride and attention to detail in your work.
• Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests.
• Experience with POS systems and reservation management platforms.
• Knowledge of wine and fine dining service standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of service.
