Klipboard provides specialist software, services and support to deliver fully integrated trading and business management solutions to companies in the distributive trade β wherever they are in the world. Our mission is simple: to design and deliver high performance, integrated ERP solutions that enable our distributive trade customers to source effectively, stock efficiently, sell profitably and service competitively.
Klipboard is a global, growing business that embraces AI and emerging technologies to enhance customer outcomes, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We're looking for people who are curious about or fluid with AI, open to change, and excited to learn how technology can improve the way we work and help our customers, which is always supported by strong human insight and communication.
Klipboard's brand is designed to bring together our expertise across Distribution, Automotive, Retail, Rental, Transport Management, Manufacturing, and Field Service Management. We have done this so far by providing flexible, industry-specific solutions; software, technology, advice, guidance and expertise built over 40 years of servicing their specific market.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead the successful implementation of the Rental product suite for customers through a mix of on-site and remote delivery. You will manage projects autonomously, guide customers through change, deliver training, and use your consultancy and technical knowledge to ensure each implementation achieves its intended outcomes. This is a hybrid role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with customers, solving practical delivery challenges and keeping projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with technology rollouts, implementation delivery and tools such as SQL will be valuable, but what matters most is a passion for IT, strong client management skills and the confidence to handle competing priorities, difficult conversations and conflict resolution professionally.
You will join a specialist software business with an established customer base, recognised products and a collaborative Professional Services team. The role offers variety across customer projects, the opportunity to build deep product and sector expertise, and the chance to make a visible impact by helping customers adopt systems that support their day-to-day operations.
- Ensure projects are implemented within agreed timelines, escalating risks or delays promptly where required.
- Manage multiple projects of varying scope and size simultaneously.
- Own the full implementation lifecycle for the Rental product suite.
- Training customers both on-site and remote as determined by the project scope.
- Prepare and conduct project kick-off meetings.
- Monitor, track and report delivery activity and project status.
- Manage/document/escalate delivery risks and issues to your line manager.
- Utilise correct tools and processes to ensure project success.
Experience managing or supporting software implementation projects, with strong organisational skills, clear communication, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems throughout the project lifecycle. Full driving licence required, as the role may involve travel to customer sites.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of ERP systems and their delivery (any software implementation is great).
- Experience working independently on software implementations is desirable, particularly in roles where you have managed delivery directly without line management responsibility.
- Exposure to SQL Server databases and Crystal Reports or similar.
