Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory through self-generated prospecting activities and leads provided through marketing and business development channels.
  • Build and maintain a sufficient sales pipeline to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business needs, challenges, and requirements, and align appropriate solutions to customer objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating solution value, benefits, and return on investment to stakeholders.
  • Manage and own sales opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract closure.
  • Qualify opportunities effectively and ensure adherence to defined sales methodologies and deal progression criteria.
  • Maintain clear customer engagement plans, including next steps, decision criteria, commercial requirements, timelines, and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, evidence-based sales forecasts, ensuring CRM records, opportunity stages, values, and close dates remain current and accurate.
  • Proactively manage opportunities to minimise deal slippage and maximise conversion rates.
  • Deliver against key sales performance indicators, including new business revenue, new customer acquisition, pipeline generation, customer meetings, outbound activity, and CRM compliance.
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective discovery, solution alignment, and professional engagement throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, business development representatives, and sales leadership teams to maximise pipeline growth and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and forecasting data within CRM and sales management systems.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-driven approach to achieving sales targets, pipeline development, and customer engagement objectives.
  • Travel as required to support territory coverage, customer engagement, and sales activities.

  • Demonstrable record of achieving new business targets.
  • Strong qualification/assessment capability throughout the sales process.
  • Self-starter mindset.
  • Ability to deliver presentations in a professional and structured manner up to board level.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driving licence and passport (travel required).

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong B2B new business sales experience of ERP software.
  • Experience gained within the distribution marketplace.
