We currently have a position available for a Business Development Executive to continue the growth of our state-of-the-art cloud product, OnRent Events (formerly known as Current RMS). This role will report into the Online Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver new business revenue for our OnRent Events product, in line with individual targets.
  • Demonstrate OnRent Events to prospective customers online.
  • Reach out to new trial sign-ups within the set team KPI.
  • Nurture prospective customers throughout their 30-day trial, including booking them in for online training to show them how to use the system.
  • Ask the correct qualifying questions to prospective customers to ensure we are pairing their business with the correct software product in our portfolio.
  • Help new users set up their system correctly, including how to import their business data into their trial to get started quickly.
  • Maintain our business database by inputting new trial sign-ups and customers as they come in.
  • Re-engage previous trialists and generate new business leads using emails, telephone calls and other tools such as LinkedIn.
  • Attend industry shows worldwide to showcase our products to prospective customers.
  • Pass on user feedback to our Product Management and Development teams to help us continuously improve our products.
  • Occasionally provide online demonstrations/onboarding sessions at 7am to prospective customers in Australia.
  • Take part in ad-hoc projects as required by the Online Sales Manager.
  • Learn (and keep up to date with) other products within the Group as and if required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:Essential
  • Good IT skills with demonstrable experience.
  • Grade 5 (B) in GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Someone who has the fire to see our prospective customers succeed as well as themselves, the business, and their peers.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Always display a “customer first” attitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and answer prospective customer questions correctly first-time.
  • Approaches their work and their relationships with their colleagues with maturity, patience, and professionalism.
  • Consistently produce high quality and detailed work.
Desirable
  • Has a valid driving license with a suitable car for business use.
  • Knowledge of Hubspot or other CRM systems.
  • Experience in the rental sector in any of the following industries: Live Events, Broadcast, Weddings, Construction or has a general understanding of B2B commercial business processes.
The role:
  • 37.5 working hours per week, required Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid working model — Minimum 3 days in the office per week, with the option to work from home 2 days per week at the discretion of your line manager, once you have passed your probation period.
