We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Workshop Technician to join our growing team at Kerr & Smith. You will assist in the servicing, repair, and maintenance of a variety of vehicles, including cars and vans, while developing your skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge of vehicle systems and contribute to delivering quality service.
Responsibilities:- Assist with servicing and repairs of cars and vans
- Support experienced technicians in the diagnosis of electrical and engine faults
- Participate in manufacturer warranty repairs
- Electric vehicle servicing and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Ensure a clean and organised work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an automotive workshop or similar environment.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills in electric vehicle technology.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license.
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
