About the role
You’ll be responsible for leading or contributing to the design and delivery of commercial office fit-out projects. That includes:
- Developing creative concepts and space plans that meet client needs and brief
- Producing presentation packs, mood boards and visuals that win hearts and minds
- Coordinating design packages and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and deliverability
- Applying knowledge of current UK building regulations and compliance requirements
- Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams across the project lifecycle
- Supporting pitches and proposals, often in collaboration with sales and marketing
- Exploring and applying new technologies, such as AI, to drive design innovation and project efficiency
This is a varied role where creativity meets commercial reality, with plenty of scope to grow in responsibility and confidence.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years experience in commercial office design and fit-out
- Strong space planning and visual presentation skills
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and how they apply to workplace projects
- Competence in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (SketchUp or Revit a bonus)
- Comfortable communicating with clients and guiding them through the design process
- Organised, detail-driven and able to manage time and priorities effectively
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and improve
- Curiosity around new tools, including AI, and how they can support better design and commercial outcomes
