About us
Kernow Mixers Limited is a haulage contractor and builders merchant.
We are currently seeking a driver to cover local deliveries and collections with our grab lorry. The successful applicant must be honest and hard working; full training will be given if required.
Responsibilities:- Drive a HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members
- Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- Minimum of 1 year experience driving heavy goods vehicles
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and nights if required
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
- Grab / Hiab experience
