Morrab Surgery is a well-established, friendly, flexible and responsive surgery serving around 8500 patients in the coastal town of Penzance, West Cornwall. We are situated just off the A30 with good links to St Ives, Truro and Falmouth and a great choice of excellent schools, housing and local facilities nearby with many beautiful beaches and coastal walks on our doorstep to support the outdoor life.
We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our team. We are located in purpose-built premises in Penzance built in February 2019 with two other practices. St Clare Medical Centre includes an on-site Pharmacy and a dedicated Minor-operations Suite in the private wing. We think this is a great place to be a GP. Practice Information
- List size: 8500 – 1 GP Partner, 1 Advanced Nurse Partner, 3 Salaried GPs
- AIC Team – 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, two HCAs, 1 dressings nurse, 2 practice nurses dealing with long term conditions
- Total system in place since 2024 using AccuRx
- Member of the West Penwith PCN
- CQC Rating – Good
- Supporting ARRS roles attached to the practice include: Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, First Contact Physio, Social Prescribing Link Worker, Mental Health Hub Team and Health and Wellbeing Coach
The post-holder will be a list holder and will be expected to undertake all the normal duties.
