We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operational Coordinator to join our Integrated Urgent Care Service (IUCS) team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. This role is central to supporting our core services, Clinical Assessment Service (CAS), and wider clinical teams to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of day-to-day operations. You will be the go-to person for operational coordination, ensuring established processes are maintained and that teams have what they need to deliver high quality, responsive care. Your work will directly support the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services across IUCS. You will thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment and bring a calm, organised approach to juggling multiple priorities. You will be someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency and supporting others. Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily operational activities across IUC core services, CAS and clinical teams
- Providing administrative support for meetings, governance processes and service reporting
- Producing and maintaining base reports and operational documentation
- Supporting HR related administration, including onboarding tasks and workforce records
- Managing stationery orders and general resource coordination
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety checks, equipment safety checks and other operational standards
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain smooth workflows and effective communication
Qualifications:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence working collaboratively with a range of colleagues and teams
- Experience in administration within a busy operational or clinical setting (desirable)
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
