About Kernel
Kernel enables revenue teams to research companies as if they had unlimited time. We’re growing extremely fast and working with many of the best revenue teams in the world like Remote.com, Navan, Zip, GoCardless, Cognism, and many more.
Previously, revenue teams relied on manual research to understand if a company had the problem they solved: Do job descriptions indicate doing what you automate? Who do they sell to? Is non-public financial data estimated to the right size? And what does this data tell me about their corporate card spend? Their travel expenses?
Our customers use Kernel to find this for every relevant company in the world to get complete overviews of ideal customers and pursue the right companies. We’re a team of second-time founders and have raised $5mm+ from top VCs and revenue leaders at Open AI, Slack, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
The Role
We’re looking for an analytical Growth Ops hire to build out automation and lead ops for Kernel's own Growth team. The role will work with our Head of Growth on how we go to market and ensure our SDRs are successful. Over time, own ops and tech for Growth.
Important to Know:
- Hours - This will be an exciting but intense job. Kernel is growing extremely fast and hours can often be long. Many of our customers are on the West Coast, and meetings can be held late in the evening.
- Working location - Minimum 4 days a week in the London office (most people do 5).
Responsibilities
- Own Kernel's product for Kernel's own Growth team to ensure we’re targeting the right accounts and people. This will be technical work given that there is no customer interface.
- Own Kernel's Growth tech stack, including Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Nooks, and more.
- Work on which industries, verticals, accounts, people, and use cases we target.
Your Traits:
- Technical: You like building automations with tools such as n8n and aren’t afraid of code.
- Entrepreneurial: creative, resourceful, generalist.
- Clear thinker, good writer: you can crisply articulate your ideas, goals, and plans and help our customers make sense of hairy consulting-like problems.
- All-in: hard-working, excited to stretch yourself, willing to take out the trash.
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Some experience in, or exposure to, automations and AI.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-To-Have:
- Startup/scale-up experience is a plus.
- While some experience with building a GTM function is a strong positive, it is not essential for the role. Being an extremely capable generalist who wants to apply commercial understanding to the commercial side of the business is the most important quality.
What we offer:
- Working directly with the founding team.
- Dinner: Free when working past 6 pm.
- Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays.
- Salary: £60-80k.
- Equity: Option grant on employee-friendly terms.
- Flexibility: Ability to work abroad for 2-weeks a year + flexibility during the working week for appointments (or anything else).
