Kering Eyewear is the world leader in Luxury and Hi-End Eyewear (Frames & Sunglasses), developing a unique ‘ensemble’ of powerful brands. We design, develop, manufacture and market to customers and consumers, the most desirable frames and sunglasses in two fast growing segments: Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle.
Your opportunity: You will be responsible for driving Trade Marketing team and initiatives, with direct impact on the UK, Nordics, and Netherlands markets. Your main focus will be to support the business and local customers (both independent opticians and key accounts) in maximizing their potential. You will ensure efficient budget allocation, promote best practice sharing, and collaborate closely with local teams to deliver excellence in execution, effectiveness, and performance, in line with Company, HQ, and Brand guidelines.
How you will contribute:
- Drive and develop the team: Fostering a culture of trust, empowerment, and accountability, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous people’s development across Trade Marketing, Optical Trainer and In-Store Specialists Regional team.
- Drive Trade Marketing strategy, plan and execution: Defining and implementing plans aligned with Brand and Company guidelines across Northern Europe, ensuring excellence at POS (visibility, cross-selling, share of space, training) and delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Ensuring strong execution of POS activities (visibility, cross-selling, share of space).
- Oversee staff training and in-store excellence.
- Oversee visibility and customer activations.
- Maximize brand impact and customer engagement.
- Design and lead the training strategy for the region coordinating directly one local optical trainer and collaborating with global training team.
- Ensure proper planning, production, and implementation of tailor-made visibility solutions for key customers when needed.
- Lead the definition and execution of the sales event strategy, ensuring the achievement of business objectives fully respecting the assigned budget.
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales: Aligning trade initiatives with commercial priorities, promoting a customer-centric mindset, leading impactful sales events and key client activations.
- Create Trade plans for specific customers.
- Collect and consolidate needs from local teams, maximizing the effectiveness of showroom activities and international sales campaigns.
- Ensure budget control, performance, and continuous improvement: Defining KPIs, monitoring ROI, analyzing market trends and competitors, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize effectiveness.
- Product strategy: Collect and consolidate product and collection feedback from markets, contributing to continuous improvement and supporting product strategy decisions.
- Lead category management and assortment strategy across the perimeter.
- Define optimal product mix by local channel and customer.
- Maximize sell-out performance and business impact.
- Ensuring alignment with Brand and Company guidelines.
Who you are: Proven experience (8+ years) in Trade Marketing, Marketing and Sales within international and matrix organizations, preferably in FMCG, luxury, beauty or consumer goods industries. Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of sales dynamics, sell-out drivers and customer/channel strategies. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with a strong focus on leadership, coaching, empowerment, and building a culture of trust and accountability. Experience in managing cross-functional projects and working in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and HQ functions. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data (sell-out, KPIs, market trends) and translate insights into actionable plans. Proven track record in budget management and delivering results in line with business objectives and ROI targets. Experience in category management and assortment optimization across different markets and channels is a strong plus. Deep understanding of in-store execution excellence, including visibility, merchandising and customer experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence different levels of the organization. Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus. Willingness to travel across the Northern Europe region.
