KERB Events is the UK’s premier street food company who focus on the incubation and growth of innovative, independent food businesses. We offer premium F&B services at various live events and venues such as Goodwood Racecourse, Kew Gardens, KIA Oval, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Jockey Club Racing venues amongst many others.

Responsibilities

  • As a Freelance Stocks Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, control, and distribution of beverage and non-food stock across multiple greenfield & public event sites.
  • Working closely with the KERB HQ team, as well as other agencies and clients, the role ensures that all bars and areas are correctly stocked, wastage is minimised, and accurate stock records are maintained throughout each event.
  • This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring excellent numeracy, organisation, and communication skills in a live event environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing beverage and ancillary stock for events from build through to breakdown.
  • Receiving, checking, and recording deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Organising stock storage areas to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Monitoring stock levels throughout events and coordinating replenishment as required.
  • Maintaining accurate stock counts, transfers, and wastage records.
  • Using GoodTill software to support stock control, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Liaising with bar managers, suppliers, and event operations teams.
  • Supporting end-of-event stock reconciliation and reporting.
  • Ensuring all stock handling complies with food safety and hygiene standards.

What you’ll bring to KERB

  • Previous experience in stock management within food & beverage, hospitality, or events.
  • Strong numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, live event environments.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with multiple stakeholders on-site.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ideally previous experience using GoodTill or similar EPOS/stock management systems.
  • Full & clean UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, or stock compliance processes.
