We're looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our Partnerships & Public Events Team and help deliver some of the UK's most exciting food-led events and venue experiences.
Working alongside our Head of Events, you'll support a portfolio of venue and event partnerships from enquiry through to delivery, working across proposals, trader acquisition, menu development, contracts, client communications and event reporting.
Through our partnership with Compass Group, you'll work across an incredible range of venues, taking ownership of accounts including ExCeL London, Knebworth House, The Kia Oval and Goodwood, while supporting activity at iconic destinations such as Wimbledon, Silverstone and Kew Gardens.
We're looking for someone organised, proactive and commercially minded, with a knack for building strong relationships and a keen eye for detail. If you love great food, live events and creating memorable experiences, this is a brilliant opportunity to build your career with one of the UK's leading food and events businesses.
What you'll be doing
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, venue partners and key stakeholders.
- Take ownership of specific accounts across the Partnerships & Public Events portfolio, ensuring consistently excellent service and delivery.
- Manage event enquiries from initial brief through to delivery and post-event wrap-up.
- Create bespoke proposals and quotes for new event opportunities, while supporting wider commercial tenders for existing and prospective venues.
- Coordinate pre- and post-event communications across clients, venues, internal teams and our independent food traders.
- Support the Head of Events with more complex enquiries and contribute to growth strategies for existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities to develop your accounts, grow revenue and upsell additional food and beverage opportunities where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate opportunities and account information within the company CRM, tracking leads from initial enquiry through to conversion.
- Proactively identify new opportunities within the Compass partnership and wider portfolio.
- Support your accounts and events operationally during peak periods, working closely with internal teams and traders to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Lead post-event reviews and debriefs, identifying successes, learnings and opportunities for improvement with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend networking events alongside the Head of Events and proactively host clients to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with KERB’s community of independent food traders and suppliers.
