Fancy being part of the team behind the festive buzz at Seven Dials Market? We're looking for seasonal team members to join us for our busiest and most vibrant time of the year.
We're looking for Seasonal Kitchen Porters who can join us from Monday 22nd November and bring great energy throughout the festive season.
As a Seasonal Kitchen Porter at Seven Dials Market, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes! You'll take full ownership of the KP area and waste rooms, ensuring everything is organised, efficient, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Alongside this, you’ll be a vital support to the Kitchen Team, making sure that glasses, utensils, and equipment are spotless and ready for action. You’ll help maintain the high operational standards set by KERB and SDM, keeping the back-of-house areas in top shape. This role is on a rota basis, covering all exciting trading periods at Seven Dials Market.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining the venue's recycling procedures in-line with KERB’s sustainability initiatives and disposing of waste in the correct places
- Exemplary organisational and cleanliness standards
- Daily set up & shut down of the KP area inline with company standards & daily checklists
- Full responsibility of washing/drying/polishing & replenishing all:
- Equipment, pots & utensils
- Venue serviceware & cutlery
- Venue Glassware
- Waste management
- Weekly deep cleaning jobs
- Ensure proper use of recycling & food waste systems
- Oversee correct usage of both waste rooms
- Ensure good communication and maintain professional relationships with peers
What you'll bring to KERB
Essential
- The ability to work independently and flexibly, with the ability to think laterally and willingness to problem solve
- Previous experience of working in high-volume, busy environments
- A passion for ‘Exceptional Hospitality’ and facilitating great guest experiences
- Excellent people skills, confident talking to our guests and traders
Desired but not essential
- Previous experience working within Hospitality
