We're looking for a Bookings Co-ordinator to join us on a 4-month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences at KERB Sports Bar, our vibrant venue and event space in the heart of Spitalfields Market. This role is perfect for someone with a hospitality background, experience coordinating bookings and corporate events, and a genuine passion for selling unique and memorable spaces.
You’ll manage reservations and enquiries across Design My Night, email and phone, supporting the Event Sales Manager and helping to drive bookings while ensuring a seamless guest journey from initial enquiry through to event delivery. You'll be confident building relationships with clients, handling corporate event requests, and identifying opportunities to maximise sales. Working closely with our management team, bar and floor staff, and Traders, you'll help coordinate and deliver brilliant events and outstanding hospitality. What you'll be doing:
- Handling reservation administration on Design My Night
- Assisting the Sales Manager with enquiry management, answering phone calls, email response.
- Assisting the management team in ensuring that customer flow in and out of the venue is as smooth as possible.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of the food and beverage offering at the venue and making recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
- Providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring effective communication with Traders and colleagues.
- Collaborating with all teams within the venue to deliver fantastic events and service, including bar and floor teams, Traders and external stakeholders.
- Seating and assisting customers with various requests, queries, and complaints/issues, and escalating to a line manager when necessary.
- Taking direction from senior members of the team while also using your judgment to complete tasks effectively and maintain a calm and professional approach in a busy environment.
What you'll bring to KERB:
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role with a strong focus on guest / customer experience and service, ideally in a high-volume environment but this isn't essential!
- A passion for 'Exceptional Hospitality' and facilitating great guest experiences
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in from time to time on non-designated areas of the business - particularly on site
- Experience of working with Design My Night or other reservation systems desirable
