We are expanding our warehouse team in Stratford-upon-Avon and are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help lead daily operations.
Role Summary
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the effective day-to-day running of the warehouse, with particular responsibility for Goods In, Goods Out, and team supervision across shifts. You’ll be responsible for managing people, stock, and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all warehouse functions including:
- Receiving and checking incoming stock (Goods In)
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders (Goods Out)
- Assign daily tasks and monitor staff performance across shift patterns
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and discrepancies
- Support warehouse staff with training, development, and performance management
- Collaborate with logistics and transport partners to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct daily and weekly team briefings and shift handovers
- Implement and improve warehouse SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, especially Goods In/Goods Out
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
- Basic IT literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A forklift licence (preferred, but not essential)
- Driver with Car to reach remote location of Warehouse
Working Hours
Full-time, rotating shift-based role. Shift patterns may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
