The Logistics Manager will take ownership of Keplin’s end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring products reach our customers accurately, on time, and cost-effectively. This is a hands-on leadership role with broad scope from inventory and warehousing through to freight, third-party logistics, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be a key contributor to operational performance and a driver of continuous improvement across the supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • End-to-End Logistics Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including domestic and international freight.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management: Supervise stock levels, storage, and product movement across warehouses to ensure timely availability and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team, setting clear performance targets and KPIs and providing ongoing support and direction.
  • Third-Party & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and freight forwarders; negotiate contracts and hold suppliers to agreed service levels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, sales, and customer service to align supply chain activities with demand forecasts and customer commitments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly analyse logistics processes and implement improvements that increase speed, reduce cost, and maintain quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics activity complies with relevant regulations, customs requirements, health & safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Reporting & MI: Monitor logistics performance through KPIs and produce regular management reports to support data-driven decision-making.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally within an FMCG environment.
  • Logistics Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, freight, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop logistics teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a commercial mindset for process optimisation.
  • Systems & Technology: Proficiency in logistics software including WMS and ERP systems, and confident use of Microsoft Office.
  • Communication: Effective communicator, able to collaborate across departments, work under pressure and negotiate with external partners.
  • Education: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
