We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join us on a consultancy basis and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest technical, quality, and compliance standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly with a growing business, supporting us as we supply to UK supermarkets, major retailers, and online e-commerce platforms.
What you’ll do:
✅ Lead all aspects of product safety, quality, and compliance from development through to launch.
✅ Review and approve technical documentation, packaging, labelling, and online listings.
✅ Liaise with supermarket, retailer, and e-commerce technical teams — providing expert guidance and solutions.
✅ Oversee product testing, certifications, and quality assurance with accredited labs.
✅ Provide technical sign-off on new products and support audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager or senior technical/compliance specialist in retail or e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU product safety legislation and compliance frameworks.
- Skilled at managing documentation, testing, and regulatory requirements.
- Confident dealing with retailer and online platform technical teams.
- Pragmatic, detail-focused, and able to work independently on a consultancy basis.
