Buyer - Electrical Home & Kitchen Appliances | Keplin Group Limited | Uxbridge, Hybrid

Keplin Group is hiring a Buyer to join our growing team at Blake House, Cowley Business Park, Uxbridge.

We're a fast-moving, multi-brand consumer goods business selling across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and D2C - with licensed partnerships including Disney and Bluey. This role sits at the heart of our product strategy: supporting sourcing from Far East suppliers, helping shape our electrical home and kitchen appliance range, and helping us stay ahead of what UK consumers want next.

If you want a buying career that involves real supplier interaction, category ownership, and genuine input into what we sell, not just processing orders, then read on.

The Role

Reporting to the Category Manager, you'll support and help manage the OEM sourcing and procurement of electrical home and kitchen appliances (e.g. kettles, toasters, air fryers, irons, and similar small domestic appliances). You'll help build supplier relationships across the Far East, support price and quality negotiations, and help ensure goods land on time. Some knowledge of Far East sourcing is desirable, and Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Beyond sourcing, you'll work closely with the wider buying team to analyse market trends, spot product opportunities, manage purchase orders, and liaise with logistics to keep the supply chain running smoothly. Your work will contribute directly to Keplin's product portfolio and competitive position in the UK market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support sourcing and negotiation with Far East suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality
  • Help manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Retail Account Development

  • Support the identification of opportunities with UK retailers, wholesalers, and independents
  • Help build long-term partnerships through effective account management

Business Development & Strategy

  • Support the execution of buying strategies to grow market penetration within category
  • Analyse data and market trends to help inform commercial decisions

Product & Category Expertise

  • Contribute to product selection and trend-led opportunities within Electrical Home & Kitchen Appliances
  • Support retail partners with category insights and product knowledge
  • Support sales growth through effective supplier and stock management
  • Help provide customers with insights that support their own revenue growth

Events & Trade Shows

  • Represent Keplin at UK trade shows, including Spring Fair and Autumn Fair
  • Support relationship-building with buyers at industry events

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in OEM buying, ideally within electrical, home, or kitchen appliances
  • Some experience or exposure to sourcing and negotiating with Far East suppliers
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of consumer and market trends
  • Confidence working with sales and trend data to support buying decisions
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
  • Experience in FMCG or consumer goods sectors
  • Previous exposure to working with UK retailers and wholesalers

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working - 2 days per week from home
  • Birthday leave, on top of a competitive annual leave allowance
  • Employee discounts on Keplin products
  • Quarterly staff socials and celebrations
  • On-site parking
  • A genuinely collaborative, inclusive culture
  • Real opportunity to grow your buying career as we scale
