Role Overview
The IT team provides level 1, 2 and 3 support for applications, operating systems and hardware across all company locations. We are looking for an
IT Service Desk Technician Level 1 based in London, with occasional travel to Paris and work-from-home.
Responsibilities
- Act as part of on‑site support for users in London and Paris.
- Respond to first‑ and second‑line support requests via the IT helpdesk.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including laptops, meeting room A/V, printers and office networking.
- Manage laptop inventory – setup, wiping, storage, dispatching and receiving.
- Maintain tidy desk cabling and server rooms.
- Help manage users on company‑wide systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Kandji.
- Provide support for advanced issues with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Adobe.
- Collaborate with vendors (Dell, Apple) on warranty claims.
- Support IT projects and system upgrades.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve user support experience and drive process efficiencies.
- Desired Experience and Skills
- Experience in first‑ and second‑line support in Microsoft, Apple and Google environments.
- Strong hardware and OS support skills for Windows and mac OS.
- Administration knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience troubleshooting meeting room A/V, ideally Logitech.
- Experience with common office networking technologies (Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, firewalls, switches).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune or Kandji user management.
- Experience using IT helpdesk ticketing systems such as Freshservice.
- Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to work across multiple offices.
- Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to expand responsibilities and suggest process improvements.
Salary and Benefits
- £35,000 per annum starting salary.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 3 years (option to purchase up to 30 days).
