Kepler Search is currently supporting an established, reputable financial institution who are currently hiring for a Finance Manager to join them. You will be supporting the month-end close process, the annual audits, and the review of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Revise the joint venture agreements to ensure revenue aligns with accounting policies.
- Analyse the consolidation models and advise if the joint venture should be a consolidated entity.
- Produce the accounting memos for entity acquisition or disposal.
- Participate in the month-end close process by reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations.
- Work with the IT departments for system maintenance and upgrades.
- Review the annual financial statements and file reports including the tax filings.
Key Skills needed:
- ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant with over 5 years’ experience working within the financial sector.
- Technical experience with UK GAAP and IFRS. US GAAP experience is preferred.
- Proven experience working on joint venture accounts.
